THIS HONEY'S
THE BEE'S KNEES!
FARM FRESH WILDFLOWER HONEY
Our unpasteurized wildflower honey is made right here on the farm by our very own bees. This honey has a beautiful, mild floral/fruity flavour and a smooth velvety texture. We have tons of flowers, apples, cherries, and raspberry flowers for our bees to choose from; all the wild flowers and fruit add to the palette of our flavorful honey. For us its best used in making mead! (ask us for a taste when you come visit!) But it's also great for coffee, tea, toast and anything else you'd like to put it in!

SOME INTERSETING TID-BITS ABOUT
WILDFLOWER HONEY
Allergy Support: Many people consume local wildflower honey to build a tolerance to regional pollen, potentially reducing seasonal allergy symptoms.
Digestive Aid: It acts as a prebiotic, nourishing the "good" bacteria in your gut.
Natural Antiseptic: It contains glucose oxidase, an enzyme that produces low levels of hydrogen peroxide to inhibit bacterial growth.
Cough Reliever: Studies suggest that honey may be more effective than certain over-the-counter cough suppressants for soothing sore throats. (pissst! ask for our secret cough syrup recipe!)
Antioxidant Powerhouse: Wildflower honey often contains a broader range of antioxidants than single-flower varieties.
Crystallization is Good: If your honey turns thick and grainy, it hasn't spoiled! This is a natural sign of raw, unprocessed honey.
Infant Safety: Never give honey to infants under one year old due to the risk of botulism spores.
Baking Secret: It helps baked goods retain moisture, extending their shelf life naturally.
Natural Moisturizer: As a humectant, it attracts and locks in moisture, making it a popular ingredient for DIY face and hair masks.
The "Terroir" Effect: Just like wine, wildflower honey has a "terroir," reflecting the unique landscape where it was made.
