Call Ducks

The Call Duck is a breed of domesticated duck raised primarily for decoration or as pets.

Call ducks look similar to some other duck breeds, but are smaller in size. Call ducks were initially used in hunting, where their own calls and quacks would attract wild ducks towards the hunter. This practice has almost entirely been replaced with artificial duck calls, with call ducks now being kept primarily as pets.

Welsh Harlequin Ducks

The Welsh Harlequin is a versatile heritage duck breed prized for its calm temperament,

exceptional egg-laying ability, and striking "frosted" plumage. Developed in Wales in 1949 as a colour mutation of the Khaki Campbell, these ducks are considered a "lightweight" breed, typically weighing between 4.5 and 6 pounds. This quiet, sweet bird is such a nice addition to our farm.
